The college costume intern of this production was expected to teach and assist a team of high school students through the process of a production as stitchers. The intern also operates at a degree higher than the students and takes on responsibilities in costume crafts, drafting, and tougher alterations.

During this process I worked as a stitcher under designer Karsen Greene. I primarily focused on following the lead’s dress through the process from drafting to mockups to final alterations.

This was my first semi-professional introduction to costume work. This was part of a six-week high school conservatory production. During the build process the costume students worked as stitchers and once the show opened they ran wardrobe crew through the production.

PLAYMAKERS COSTUME STOCK - From fall 2019 to Spring 2020 I worked as a Costume Stock Intern at Playmakers Repertory Company. I worked to set up a cataloguing system and input data on a costume stock with thousands of garments.
